POLICIES
​​​​​How far in advance should I reserve a booking?
​
Dog walks, drop-ins, and short-term pet sitting visits should be reserved 1–3 weeks in advance.​
Overnight stays should be reserved 4–6 weeks in advance.
Bookings are accepted up to six (6) months in advance. If you wish to schedule a service beyond this timeframe, please contact me.

What is your cancellation policy?

I completely understand that life happens and plans can change. If you’re able to cancel in advance, I truly appreciate it, as it helps me adjust my schedule and offer that time to other clients who may have requested your time slot. Below are the cancellation policies for pet sitting and dog walking.

Cancellation of Bookings
To cancel a dog walking or pet sitting booking (excluding overnight stays), please notify me at least two (2) days before your scheduled service. Cancellations made one (1) day before your scheduled service will incur a 50% charge for that service. For cancellations made on the same day as your scheduled service, or if you return early and cancel any remaining time within the service period, please note that you will be charged 100% of the service.

Cancellation of Overnight Bookings
To cancel an overnight pet sitting booking, please notify me at least five (5) days before your scheduled service. Cancellations made less than five (5) days in advance will incur a 50% charge for that service. For Cancellations made the same day as your scheduled service, or if you return early and cancel any remaining time within the service period, please note that you will be charged 100% of the service.

Cancellation fees will not be waived for weather conditions, illness, trip interruptions, trip cancellations, or event cancellations.

Do you charge for holidays?

A Holiday Service Fee will apply if your scheduled service falls on certain federal and non-federal holidays.

Holidays subject to the $10 service fee: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Father’s Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, and Veterans Day.​

Holidays subject to the $25 service fee: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

What if I have a short notice or same day booking request?

A $5 fee applies to any booking made one (1) day before or on the same day as the requested scheduled service.
​
Please note that short notice and same day booking requests will not be accepted from potential new clients.
What is your service area?
​​
Services are performed in South Orange County but may also be performed in North Orange County depending on availability. A travel fee of $10 will be implemented for services performed in North Orange County.
