Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of animals do you provide pet sitting services for?
    I provide pet sitting services for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and small caged animals.
  • How much do you charge per pet?
    All services are for 1-2 pets in the household. If you have 3 or more pets that require care, please contact me for a quote.
  • What types of payment do you accept?
    I accept cash, checks, Venmo, credit cards, and ACH. Credit card and ACH transactions are performed through Waveapps.com. There is a surcharge fee for all Venmo, credit card, and ACH transactions.
  • When is payment due?
    Payment is due upon completion of the scheduled service period without further invoice or notice.
  • Do you require a deposit?
    An advance deposit may be required whenever warranted is the sole judgment of Four Paws & Exotics Pet Sitting.
  • Do you provide in-home pet sitting or private dog walking services outside the County of Orange?
    At this time, I do not provide in-home pet sitting or private dog walking services outside of the County of Orange. I mainly serve the cities within South Orange County. However, I may be able to provide services in North Orange County depending on my schedule. Please contact me for more information.
  • Do you offer off-site pet sitting or boarding at your home?
    No, I do not offer off-site pet sitting or boarding at my home.
  • Do you require a consultation or meet and greet before a scheduled service?
    I require a Complimentary Meet & Greet for all first-time clients to ensure I am the perfect fit for your pet's needs. During the Complimentary Meet & Greet, I take the time to introduce myself and understand your expectations. Meet & Greets are performed at least 5 days before scheduled service.
  • How far in advance should I book a service with you?
    It is recommended to book your pet sitting or dog walking service with me at least 3-4 weeks in advance. This allows me sufficient time to accommodate your specific needs, especially during peak seasons such as holidays and summer months when demand is higher. Early booking ensures that your pet receives the individualized care and attention they deserve from me. However, I do understand that emergencies can arise, and I will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. To secure your preferred dates and services, I encourage you to contact me as early as possible.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    To cancel or reschedule, please reach out to me via phone call or email at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time. This will allow me to adjust my calendar and accommodate any other clients. If you provide a cancellation notice after 24 hours, a fee of 25% of the total cost of the originally scheduled service will apply. If you need to reschedule a service, please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee for rescheduling services.
  • I'm visiting Orange County with my pet and staying at a hotel and/or vacation rental. Do you provide pet sitting or dog walking services at hotels and/or vacation rentals?
    Yes, I offer pet sitting and dog walking services at hotels and vacation rentals within South Orange County. I mainly serve the cities within South Orange County. However, I may be able to provide services to certain cities within North Orange County depending on my schedule. Please contact me for more information.
  • Are you insured and bonded? Do you have a business license?
    Yes. Four Paws & Exotics Pet Sitting is insured and bonded with Pet Care Insurance and has an active business license with the City of Laguna Hills, CA.
